Golden Baton Challenge – Ohio Kubb Championship

This year at the Ohio Kubb Championship we will be holding the first Golden Baton Challenge. Registration will be the day of the event.

For a $5 entry fee that goes to support the Canton Garden Center you can enter the contest to win the Golden Baton.

The contest will be held during the lunch break of the Ohio Kubb Championship.

Rules

The participant is given 10 batons and 10 Kubb targets on the pitch. 1 point is awarded for each Kubb that is knocked over and 1 for any batons that may be remaining after all Kubbs have been knocked over. The Golden Baton will be awarded to the entrant who finishes with the most points. The image below shows the placement of the Kubbs for the challenge.

Good Luck!

  1. Love this! Sounds like a lot of fun! Will the placement of the kubbs be reversed for lefty players so they have a chance at the same angles as righty players?

  2. This is an amazing idea Neil!

I was wondering if I could use your idea for our tournament here in Ottawa, Canada as well. Nice little fundraiser as well as something to do between matches 🙂

    1. Thanks! and you’re welcome to the idea and any sort of variation or Improvement you can think of for it.
